Railway. Overseas Traction - South Africa. A fine collection of approx. 380 x 35mm, colour negatives, in strips. Some of the film is "Sakura" colour film and although the negatives have faded slightly, they still have good colour rendition. The collection was photographed by an ex B.R driver (the late P. Tomblin) who went to South Africa to photograph steam in the 1981-3 period. There are some fine images in this lot along with a superb, very detailed caption list, including build dates of locos, rolling stock details, train details even drivers, reads like a book!
