£330
A late 19c American perpetual calendar clock by Seth Thomas in rectangular rosewood case with two 33cm diam. dials, the top one indicating the time and the lower indicating the day of the week. The single train clock movement is weight driven and the calendar is perpetual, adjusting itself for short months and leap years. The clock dials are white painted metal and the month and day of the week are on drums behind the lower dial appearing through apertures in the dial. Clock stands 100cm h overall.
The case is in reasonable condition with slight veneer loss to the plinth. the dials have some paint loss to the background. The movement seems complete, but would benefit from cleaning.
