HMS Hood - two handwritten diaries titled 'World Cruise Of The Special Service Squadron From November 1923 to September 1924 - HMS Hood'. The diaries comprising two volumes in lined books, the first book completely filled, the second around half-filled. Diaries written by one William Clarence Stribley of 13 Mess. Each diary is well filled with detailed accounts of their trip, adventures on-land and other such typical entries. Unique historical accounts. Along with a selection of Stribley's personal effects - photographs (some aboard HMS Hood), letters, pamphlets and other general ephemera. All housed in an original 'demob' style small brown suitcase.
