Suffragettes. 1913 (Apr. 17) Cover posted in London franked 1d, from Earls Court to Villiers Street, Strand, a little oil or fire damage at lower right corner, endorsed "Result of Suffragette 'pillar-box' outrage". Also 1915-16 envelopes with embossed flaps showing a lady holding the scales of justice and "SUFFRAGII JUS" within a green circle (2), and a 1916 cover to USA from the National League for Opposing Woman Suffrage, all franked 1d.
