A portable gramophone, presented to G.P. Plummer Esq in December 1930 with the compliments of the Management of the Davis Theatre Croydon, on the occasion of their 2nd Anniversary, there is a plaque on the front of the casing with this inscription, and a letter hand-typed and signed by the General Manager inside the gramophone
