A Thai gilt bronze seated figure of Buddha, 18th/19th century,
seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base with hands in dhyana mudra,
33 cm high
The finial on his head is slightly bent backward. There is wear and flaking to the gilding in patches all over. There are typical casting imperfections and wear around the foot in particular. There are remnants of mirrored glass to the robes of the figure otherwise in reasonable condition.
