R.M.S. TITANIC:
R.M.S. TITANIC: Rare cobalt blue and gilt saucer with gilt OSNC to centre. Made by Spode and carrying the number 580303 denoting registrations in 1911. This pattern is widely acknowledged as the rarest from the White Star Line and examples have been found at the Titanic's wreck site. Its use on Titanic and Olympic is unknown but suggestions include presentation china or part of a millionaire's service, small hairline to reverse in tiny chip to rim otherwise good.
