A Georgian mahogany longcase clock the hood enclosing a broken arch dial with silvered chapter ring, the arch enclosing a lunar dial and high water at Bristol Key, with subsidiary calendar and secondary dial by Isaac Hewlett of Bristol, with pendulum, weights and winder
It is never possible to run these mechanisms under saleroom conditions.
However the movement is bright and clean. No reason to see at least from a visual inspection any obvious problems.
The bell was removed by the previous owners for annoyance reason and then lost!
Circular inner dial with the clock but removed from the dial.
Two lead weights and brass pendulum. Restorers details in the case, not dated, but appears circa 2010.
Height 220/221 cm
