A SWISS 1889 PATTERN SAWBACK BAYONET AND SCABBARD. With a 48 cm blade with a sharpened edge and saw blade to the other side with a partial fuller between. Marked 'Waffenfabrik Neuhausen' to the ricasso, numbered 795261 to the cross piece, the grip with two part wooden handle. In black finished scabbard with leather belt hanger stamped 29 'Sattler jos Christen Wolfenschiessen'. 64 cm overall.
Some discolouring to the leather, generally a very nice example.
