Good French gilded brass repeating carriage clock striking on a gong, the black painted porcelain dial signed Howell & James, To The Queen, enclosed by a chapter ring with Roman numerals and minute track over two coloured enamel seated putti playing with a birdcage in a floral garden, within an unusual case with twin slender baluster pillars to each canted corner, surmounted by a raised circular bevelled glazed escapement window and carrying handle, 7.75" high
The condition generally appears very good and the movement is functioning, there are minor chips to the corners of the front glass panel and right hand side panel, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible.
