A worksplate, BEYER PEACOCK, 7179, 1945, from a South African Railways 3ft 6ins gauge Class GEA 4-8-2+2-8-4 Beyer-Garratt No 4012. The class was designed for goods traffic and all were withdrawn by 1976. Cast brass, 10¼"x6", in ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
