A large hand-knotted Ushak style carpet (possibly Donegal, Arts & Crafts); the light lime-green predominant rectangular field centred with a stylised flowerhead pattern and surrounded by similarly stylised varying flowerheads and sprigs, the larger light turquoise border with shaped medallions with further differing sized flowerheads and between two smaller salmon-pink borders, several prevalent old repairs and reparations, some damage and tears to outer edge and some wear/tears to main body of carpet. The carpet of considerable size (approx. 483cm x 404cm)
