An 18th century silver mounted pedestal coconut cup, the ovoid bowl applied with portrait roundels, the rim engraved with hunting in a landscape, knopped pillar, domed foot chased with flowers, scrolling foliage and strapwork, maker's mark IP, 17.5cm high
Good condition for the age of the item, obviously the coconut shell is cracking (only minor), knob in the centre of the stem is riding on silver base
