An original painting on ceramic tile by W. Yale ceramic artist for Copeland of Windsor Castle. William 'Billy' Yale was born in Newport, Shropshire in 1843. Employed by Copeland from c.1869-83. In original gilt frame with period hanging chain to reverse. Signed to bottom left. 41 x 54 cm including frame.
In good original condition free of damage or restoration.
