Omar Ramsden silver and copper brooch, circular form centred with an anchor and worked in Celtic form with the words 'Dieu Te Garde' (God Keep You), dispersed with three carnelian cabochons, all within a beaded and rope twist outer border, inscribed verso 'I was wrought for Joyce Pickering by command of Mabel Thomas, June MCMXIX (1919)', signed 'Omar Ramsden me fecit', 5.5cm
One of the beads at the edge of the brooch has a hole. There is a small nick to the back edge of the brooch. All the cabochons are good. No further damage detected.
