Star Lot: A fabulous original oil on canvas painting titled "Towards Errisbeg, Connemara" by one of Ireland's most popular landscape artist Fergal Flanagan. The work shows a wonderfully impressionistic scene of the west of Ireland in vividly bright colours executed with a deft hand. Signed bottom right and housed in a off-white frame. Flanagan has an excellent auction history selling in the high hundreds to thousands.

Flanagan is a well established Irish artist who specialises in impressinistic landscapes and figurative works. He regularily works en plein air hosting artist retreat trips to the west. Fergal sudied at the National College of Art, Dublin under the late Henry Healy RHA, Des Carrick RHA and John Coyle RHA. He has been painting full time since 1986.His work is shown in many galleries throughout Ireland. He has had 6 major exhibitions in his career reflecting the places he has visited, which are worldwide.
