A MID-16TH CENTURY BRASS ALMS DISH, NUREMBERG, CIRCA 1550. The centre decorated with a gadrooned and lidded urn between scrolls, within a border of punched leaves, a band of 'Gothic' script, a further band of smaller punched leaves and a gadrooned booge, two styles of punches to the rim, with rolled edge, diameter 40.5cm.
