Overall of a slightly faded mid to light brown walnut tone, one replaced section to the front veneered cornice, sides of the cornice are not veneered but made of solid wood, locks look original but no key present, handles are later replacements, stand almost certainly extensively rebuilt and in the main 19th century, a number of splits and cracks running down both sides where it appears to have been made from small sections of wood.
