A Louis Philippe French ebonised and ormolu portico clock, the 12.5cm gilt brass dial with Roman numerals centred with flowerhead and honeysuckle patera, the eight day movement with external count wheel signed 'R Obert A Paris', the case crested by a bust of Rousseu, the frieze with an ormolu relief of basket of flowers, cornucopia and scrolls above four composite orders, on rectangular stepped base, 57cm high, c.1840
