1911 (Feb 18) Allahabad First Aerial Post, first type postcard, 161x127mm, depicting Pequet in his biplane with the printed heading "FIRST "AERIAL POST", February 18, '11", signed on the picture side by Pequet. Addressed to Simla with KEV11 ½a cancelled by the special pictorial Aerial Post handstamp in magenta, datestamps of Allahabad and Simla. A couple of very light creases, otherwise unusually fine, possibly the finest known example of this very scarce card. Photo on Page 162.
