1883 (Nov 29) Entire letter from London to Bordeaux franked 1881 2½d blue plate 23 cancelled "CALAIS A PARIS" c.d.s, arrival backstamp. Presumably left uncancelled in error in London, noticed and cancelled in transit on the Calais to Paris T.P.O, very unusual. Photo on Page 56.
