PENNY BLACK: Varied group on stock cards, packets, etc. Includes 26 Dec. 1840 3/4 margin 1d black TE on large piece tied by fine red MX, QV Jubilee set to 1/- (2) all appear unmounted mint (except for hinged 1/- green & carmine). Also an assortment of perf. 1d reds & 2d blues plus a few surface printed in envelopes. KEVII inc. 2/6d & 5/- used and approval book with range of used defins inc. scarce 4d brown-orange shade (SG239, £140) and 1/- (2 shades) in used blocks of 4, one with Albury, Gloucester cds's. Useful KGV Seahorses used 2/6d (2) & 5/- (3), re-engraved 10/-, 1924 Wembleys, 1924 defins to 1/- unmounted, etc., plus a few KEVII/KGV wmk. varieties. A useful lot. (Few dozens)
