Continental enamelled and gem set pendant necklace, in the Renaissance style, early 20th Century, the pendant formed as two birds with enamelled details, centred with an oval of mother of pearl within a surround of small round rubies and blue enamel, with green enamelled foliage, with a damaged freshwater pearl suspended beneath, the whole suspended from a similar oval link with mother of pearl and rubies, and a mother of pearl and blue enamelled fancy links dispersed intermittently with a bar set with tiny rubies, all set within unmarked gold plated white metal, the pendant drop 65mm x 45mm, the necklace length 44cm

On inspection with a 10x loupe there are tiny chips and imperfections, inclusions to the rubies. There are chips and small losses to the mother-of-pearl and some minute chips and losses to the enamel. There are some small chips to the enamel on the back of the pendant. The metal is unmarked. The clasp works well.
