Samuel McLarnon (1923-2013) is a well known Irish Artist with works fetching into the high hundreds at Ross's.

Samuel McLarnon (1923-2013) was born in Larne, County Antrim where he studied art at Larne Technical School. Here he was the recipient of several awards, along with a Diploma in illustration. His preferred medium was watercolours and his subjects were primarily Antrim coastal scenes. McLarnon opened a studio in Main Street Larne and exhibited there annually for 28 years. He was a founding member of Larne Art Club, helped found the Ulster Watercolour Society, and was a life member of Carnlough Art Club.
