A good 19th century leather cabin trunk, by J. H. Pontifex, Buckingham Palace Road, London, stamped to lock protector, with twin outside straps, brass lock and two end handles, the interior with central divider with morocco leather pocket, lined in blue striped cloth, 30 x 15 x 13½in. (76.25 x 38 x 34.25cm.), painted initials to exterior, some insect damage to interior edges.
