Great image of the 16th century Mughal Empire leader, Akbar (Abu'l-Fath Jalal ud-din Muhammad Akbar / Akbar the Great; 1542-1605), wearing traditional clothing and jewels, sitting on a black horse with two men cooling him with a decorated fan, the white Lahore Fort (Shahi Qila / Royal Fort) in the background and colourful tapestry below. Akbar was a popular and successful leader who rebuilt the ancient fort in 1575. Lahore is the historic capital and current capital city of Punjab in Pakistan. Pakistan is located in South East Asia on the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Oman, bordered by India, Iran, Afghanistan and China.
