Bovril - a late 19th century High Victorian pop-up advertising postcard. The card featuring two pop-up nurses feeding a sickly child a cup of Bovril, reading 'Nurses must use Bovril in place of Beef Tea as it is infinitely more Nourishing'. With fold out stand to verso. Loss to a figure standing behind the nurse, light edgewear, nurse's head loose but present, spotting to verso & all parts present and functional. Measures approx. 10cm tall x 11cm wide x 7cm.
