Oil on canvas relined 20 - 30 years ago or more, canvas remains tight, work looks rather dirty and would certainly benefit from a clean, a fine but stable craquelure running through the paint, looks to have had some retouching, certainly down the right hand side near particularly near the lower corner but also on her hands, appears perhaps to have had a ring painted out on her marriage finger, no labels or inscriptions verso, housed in an antique overpainted giltwood frame which has suffered losses at the corners
