34th (Cumberland) Regiment of Foot, Victorian glengarry badge circa 1874-1881.
Good scarce die-stamped brass crowned Bath cross, with CUMBERLAND circlet and 34 to centre, set on laurel sprays. The arms of the cross emblazoned with battle honours. Brass loops East and West (bent). VGC 34th uniquely held the honour "Arroyo dos Molinos", granted on 30th May 1845. Became 1st Battalion Border Regt. on Friday 1st July 1881
