The ship's bell for the British India Steam Navigation Company Cargo Line SS 'Wangaratta': the 14 inch bell with square section suspension and incised text, with original clapper, 31cm high. (damage to rim 5cm long)

*Notes- Laid down as 'War of Theseus' for the British Shipping Controller she was launched as 'Wangaretta' for the British Indian S. N. Co in April 1919. In 1929 she was sold to the Blue Star Line and renamed 'Tacoma Star'. She was eventually torpedoed and sunk by U-109 off the East Coast of the United States on 1st February 1942.
