WW2 British Third Pattern Fairbairn Sykes Fighting Knife. 167mm long double edged blade maker marked "Kenbourne Manufacturing Co, Sheffield, England". Thin Brass Crossguard is unmarked. Cast alloy grip with Mould No 4. with copper finish showing. Overall length 279mm. Complete with original scabbard without both leather tabs, elastic retaining loop in place but a/f. Has original owners name scratched into the leather scabbard "Sgt Walsh, 749". Brass chape with much blued finish intact.
