A locomotive nameplate, HEATHERDEN HALL, and its matching cabside numberplate, 6946, from a GWR 4900 Hall Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in December 1942 and named in March 1946 after a Victorian country house standing in the grounds of Pinewood Film Studios at Ivor Heath in Buckinghamshire. It spent all its BR days at only two sheds, Cardiff Canton and Pontypool Road, from where it was withdrawn in June 1964 and sold for scrap to Birds at Risca.
