PUGILIST INTEREST: AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY POTTERY LOVING CUP COMMEMORATING THE BOXERS SPRING AND LANGAN c1825, decorated with the famous bare knuckle fighters Tom Spring and Jack Langan, to commemorate their fight in 1824, a black and white polychrome interior border of a rural scene height 16cm, diameter 16cm (1) (Condition Report: crazing and staining throughout, a hairline crack running through Langan on one side, restoration work to flaking paint on Spring's blue trousers on both sides, restored handles)
