A Chinese Guangzhou enamel two handled wine cup, four character Qianlong mark and of the period (1736-1795), painted in vibrant colours with lotus flowers scrolling tendrils and leaves on a yellow ground, with keywork borders, applied with a pair of pierced zoomorphic handles headed by white flower buds, gilt bronze rims, the base with blue Qianlong four character mark, 10.5 cm wide, minor damage.

This Guangzhou enamel cup is a copy of an Imperial workshops gold and polychrome enamel wine cup and saucer made for the Qianlong emperor (1736–95), housed in the Palace Museum, Beijing, inventory no.Gu.11582.

This Guangzhou enamel cup is a copy of an Imperial workshops gold and polychrome enamel wine cup and saucer made for the Qianlong emperor (1736?95), housed in the Palace Museum, Beijing, inventory no.Gu.11582.
There are some flake losses to the enamel at the bottom of each handle, around the lower border of the foot, and two one of the white bud finials. There two hairline cracks to the pink enamel on the interior of the cup, otherwise in good condition.
