Saxon period gold finger ring. Circa 8th-11th century CE. 2.50g, 19mm. A plain high carat band with a lattice bezel formed of plain and twisted strands of gold. Rolled around on both sides to meet on the underside. From an old English collection, purchased from a Colchetser based retailer 1990's.
