£140
An early 20c 3 draw telescope by J H Dallmeyer London, numbered 12824 and dated 1916, designed for telegraph signallers and gun sighting. The brass body is leather covered with leather caps for the eyepiece and the objective. The eyepiece also has a revolving shutter, and the objective is 5cms dia. The extended telescope measures 84cms l.
The objective has multiple chips around its rim and the main body of the telescope seems to have had its leather re-covered at some time. The brasswork is rather tarnished. The end caps are worn but original.
