WW2 1944 Dated British Airborne Forces Steel Helmet
dark brown, rough texture crown. Inner alloy band holding the rubber crash pads and leather sweatband. This with maker's "BMB" dated 1944. Three point fastened webbing chinstrap with leather chin cup. Webbing crown harness damaged and lining loose. Dent to crown.
