Irish artist Taggart, born in Donaghadee Co. Down, studied at the Belfast College of Art and is known for her flamboyant style. Her inspiration is often drawn from Ireland's culture, landscape and people, as well as her travels to Mexico, India and Portugal. It is in these places that she finds particular resonance with local religious and pagan imagery. Taggart has exhibited with the RHA, the RA and the Irish Exhibition of Living Art and has lots of prolific auction history.
