This Daimler has been sourced by the vendor directly from Kensington palace, it belonged to the Royal Sultan of Brunei and it is believed that this was his personal car when in London. When the vendor purchased the vehicle from Kensington Palace the staff advised that the Sultan of Brunei wanted the same car as the Queen, i.e. this Daimler. So this was purchased from Stratstone Mayfair, along with the number plate L20 KPG, which stands for London 20 Kensington Palace Gardens, the address on "Billionaires Row", which matches the address on the front of the logbook. The car also comes with personal items that were left in the vehicle, which came straight from Kensington Palace.
This Long Wheel Base Daimler has only covered 63,000 miles, and comes with a full Daimler service history. The car is described by the vendor as being in very nice condition, and starts and drives very smoothly, without any hesitations or issues. It is the larger engine 4L automatic, and it has a lot of optional extras including folding down rear walnut tables with drink holders, rear centre console and armrests, and rear foot stalls.
The walnut dash and cream leather interior are in very good condition, however the drivers seat has got a little bit of wear on the bolster. The bodywork has no major dents or scratches, however the rear bumper is showing a little damage, which should be easily repairable. It is said to have no rust on it whatsoever.
The car has a new MOT, full service history, and a very large leather folder full of all the booklets for the car. It comes with dual air conditioning climate control, Power steering, remote-control central locking, security alarm, alloy wheels (the centre caps are missing), metallic paint, chrome door handles/bumpers/wing mirrors, black privacy glass, electric folding blinds, uprated music system with CD multi changer in the boot, and a sunroof.
