A Victorian-Edwardian Mounted Indian Tigers Head. This was mounted by the World famous taxidermist Eugene Van Ingen who founded the company in the 1890’s in Mysore Southern India, Eugene died in 1928, leaving the company to his sons, who then changed the name to Van Ingen & Van Ingen. They continuing to trade under this name until they closed in 1999. This item still has the original “Eugene Van Ingen label on the back which would date this item pre-1928.
