EARLY ENGLISH POTTERY VESSEL WITH HANDLE - 1761 & ANOTHER SIMILAR ITEM. Probably by the Donyatt Pottery, the small pot with a handle to the rim and painted with flowers and leaves, inscribed 'S M 1761, Mind in thy youth the God of truth (12.5cms high) Also with a similar item, inscribed 'J B, This is true I love none but you, John Backs? (cracked, 13.5cms high). (2). ** 1761 pot, paint loss/nibbles to the rim and handle in places, a little paint loss near the base.
The other is cracked right down the body from a chip to the rim, chip to rim, some paint loss.
