A FIRST WORLD WAR VICTORY MEDAL TO THE DEVON REGIMENT. A Great War Victory Medal named to 31023 Pte F. Tizzard Devon R. Frank Tizzard was twice reported as wounded, on the 20th June 1918 and on the 5th July 1918 and entitled to a wound stripe, at this time his next of kin were at Evershot. Towards the end of the War he was taken as a Prisoner of War arriving back in England on the 29th January 1919. His Medal Index Card also records him with number 8/9493 with the 206 Infantry Battalion. With copied Medal Index Card.
Good condition with some rubbing to surfaces.
