Charles Ambrose (1876-1946) c1920 Original Golf Sketch of leading golfing personality - pen and brush, black ink heightened with white on grey coloured backing - featuring a player playing an approach shot to the green signed to the lower right Charles Ambrose - image 10.75" x 7.5" - overall 15 x 11.75" - note on the reverse of the picture inscribed "Richardson "The Field" wanted by Monday Noon" possibly Sec., Royal St Georges GC 1900-1920 - Charles Ambrose was the illustrator for The Country Life Magazine who recently liquidized the entire collection when they closed the main office in Tavistock.
