William Moorcroft - Two 1930s mugs each with tubelined decoration, the first against an ochre ground with a tubelined basket of flowers, the second against an olive green ground with horn of plenty, both with impressed signature marks and both initialled in blue, tallest 11cm. (2)
Both have firing imperfections - the green has a firing line to the rim and a blemish to the footrim. The ochre has a burst glaze bubble to the side. Both are crazed.
