Two Victorian late 19th century mahogany veneered and abalone inlaid sewing / jewellery boxes. The lot to include a flame mahogany sewing box with diamond shaped abalone & mother of pearl cartouche to top & escutcheon. The box opening to reveal a violet fabric interior with two tier shelves. Together with a mother of pearl inlaid sewing box with brass inlaid framing to top & front. Central florally shaped vignette opening to reveal a velvet fully appointed interior. Largest measures approx. 13cm x 31cm x 23cm.
