A 5 shot 38 bore Beaumont Adams DA percussion revolver, by Gasquoine & Dyson, Market Place, Manchester, 13” overall, barrel 7”, the frame engraved “21356. Adams’ Patent 37,157”, the cylinder also numbered 37,157, London proved, the breech stamped “L.A.C.”. GWO & near VGC, retaining 80% of original blued finish; in its fitted green baize lined oak case with circular escutcheon, the lid with trade label of Gasquoine & Dyson, containing Robt Adams marked 38 bore bronze mould, plain copper flask by Sykes with angled top, cleaning rod/bullet extractor, nipple key, turnscrew and pewter oil bottle. GC, the case lid slightly warped. £1500-2200
