Boucquin, French Prisoner of War, Cupar, Fife [Scotland]" charged "1/1" (1s-1d inland rate from London; 3 Feb. cds backstamp and faint red m/s "Not paid" on front) with a partly fine double-oval London "TRANSPORT OFFICE/[Crown]/G.R/PRISONERS OF WAR" (crossed by neatly closed tear at right) nicely placed on the front beside the Edinburgh 6 Feb. transit cds. The contents are a list of supplies, employees and patients in the "Hopitaux de Charrier". Very rare; the only recorded Cupar POW cover.
