Provenance - From the collection of Druie Bowett, the late artist. Consigned by family.
Old heavy craquelure left to right under horse. Approximateley 4cm up from lower edge there is a line running 3/4 of the way across the canvas, verso shows a water(?) stain across back of canvas above stretcher. No repairs showing verso. Top left corner overpainting could be to a small surface repair.
Over painting to craquelure, some in grass lower edge, horse and jockey, a little in sky.
