A fine Canton gilt-ground urn and cover of neoclassical form, the domed cover with finial in the form of a female figure taking tea, pink blossom and branch handles, the body with oval relief medallions to either side and decorated overall with elaborate pavilion and terrace scenes from 'The Romance of the Three Kingdoms' on a ground of flowers and butterflies, on stepped square base, Daoguang, 46cm [restoration to cover, minor damage and losses to handles].
