CALAMOS 1828 - RARE "POSTA KALAMOY/*" UDC WITH MANUSCRIPT "3" IN CENTRE + "FROM THE MOREA" - 13 Sept. 1828 EL (minor dusting; also with internal toning) from Katakolon (Morea, Greece) to Myticas (Greece) but posted in Calamos; rare mark and unusual on a transit cover from mainland Greece to mainland Greece; seldom seen. Also CEPHALONIA 1831 EL with mainly fine scarce 3-ring "OFFICIO DELLA POSTA DI CEFALONIA" with red m/s "4[d]" in centre (prepaid) & small fancy oval CORFU mark; plus 20 Jan. 1832 EL with "CEFALONIA" d.s. & boxed "FRANCA" (both mainly very fine) on the front, but also unusually endorsed "Accompagna carico d8" (accompanying cargo & prepaid 8d - i.e. a Consignee's Ship Letter), CORFU backstamp.
